Frequently Asked Questions
1) Are your Specimens ethically sourced?
Every single animal specimen used in an Alluring Remains piece is ethically sourced. All skulls and skeletons are sourced through donations of loved pets who passed, roadkill, forested, or they were euthanized due to being an invasive species in the state of Florida.
(I myself nor anyone associated to Alluring Remains euthanizes or harms any animal for any reason.)
Every domesticated animal that I have found as a result of roadkill has been checked for microchips before processing to make sure they had no prior owners looking for them.
Every specimen I offer has been sourced with deep respect for the animal. To me, "ethically sourced" means that no animal was harmed or killed for the purpose of making my art.
My art is about honoring life, not taking it. I aim to preserve and share the natural beauty and uniqueness of each creature, while ensuring that their story continues in a way that respects their origin.
2) Do you do the work yourself?
Yes! From processing bones, articulation, beading, painting and hand carving, everything from start to finish is done by me!
3) How can I buy a piece in person?
I travel throughout the United States for different expos geared towards Oddities!

4) I saw a piece on your Instagram I’d like to purchase, but it isn’t listed on your website.
Please note that some of my larger or one-of-a-kind pieces will be showcased exclusively on Instagram rather than on my website. Due to high demand and the unique nature of these works, I prefer handling inquiries and purchase requests for them directly through Instagram DMs. This allows for a more personal and timely response, ensuring each piece finds the right home.
